Sneak Peak

As you all may know, besides dancing, as a fashion enthusiast I have a passion for fashion an style, and I am really interested in doing internships for Fashion Magazines, clothing lines, and photographers. I'm even of high interest in doing print modeling for clothing designers and lines...it's very rare that you find "not so skinny" girls doing any type of modeling work, but I can do it too! And so can you... With that said, today I did my first job as a styling assistant for a photo shoot- all coordinated through Model Mayhem. As an assistant to "B.", I would be doing so anyway. However, this shoot was not all of Freshfest clothing line (although some items were worn in the shoot), B. was the wardrobe stylist. The photographer Stephan was going for a "baby doll" theme. Here goes...

Lucky Find

I treasure hunted this amazing black leather jacket with sequined shoulder pads and on the back of the jacket! Found at one of my favorite places to treasure hunt, the flea market. This Jacket is an antique leather made in the 80s, 20 bucks! :)

Making Shirts

While I was doing my daily blog reading I found these two shirts that are HAND MAKE-ABLE!
So...with that said, thats what I'm doing! I'll keep you posted on my progress. I've started the white shirt already but evidently it demands a lot of labor.

Impulsive Inspiration

SO. As I was listening to my iPod today I had the music on shuffle...I came across a song my sister and I always used to listen to. I always liked this song and found the words quite amusing to my ear seeing that I DO love fashion and style...and now I've considered myself a victim. On a moments instinct I was inspired to change my blog title. No one ever knew what "PEACEfromtheroots" meant anyway, I guess it was a personal thing that I understood and went by myself- but now it's something a little more obvious to the eye...Inspired by  Mr. Bentley, Kanye West, and Lil Wayne's song "Cool Outrageous Lovas Of Uniquely Raw Style", this is what I call the movin' sidewalk; I've changed my blog title to C.O.L.O.U.R.S. Sorry if you don't agree with it, but what can I say? I'm really a Cool Outrageous Lova Of Uniquely Raw Style. Besides, I'm undergoing major construction with this blog anyhow. So until next time, PEACE!
